![]() ![]() ![]() They produce real high- end material used by professionals. If we are talking about DJ CD player there are 3 major brands: Denon, Pioneer and Tascam. After hearing some opinions about American DJ it seems that this brand isn't playing with the big boys. So what about the American DJ Pro Scratch 1. Still I think the best scratching is done on a TT. IMO the Pioneer CDJ-1000s is more for the guys who spin Funk, Hip-hop and want to do some serious CD scratching. And you don't have to spend that much money. If you are a DJ spinning with CD's, IMO the Tascam will be great for everyone who spins Dance Music like Trance, Techno, Goa, etc. I spin House & Trance, so holding, scratching the bass and backspinning is as far as my scratch interests reach. On the other hand, the Pioneer CDJ-1000 is much more designed for the purpose of scratching then the Tascam. ![]() And you need two CD-1000 to mix and just one CD-302. The price of one CD-1000 is more then the Tascam CD-302. But this feeling was gone when I heard the pricetag. Yeah I did once, when I first saw the CD-1000. I never had any problems with it (some people had problems with the older versions) and never regretted my purchase. IMO It's better then the American DJ Pro Scratch 1, has more features (scratch, brake, loop, sample, 100% pitch, cue memory, etc) then the other Pioneer CD player (CDJ-100, CDJ-500, CDJ-700) and is not so expensive. So 1 year a go I bought myself the Tascam CD-302 (V 1.40). The Pioneer CDJ-1000 is the best DJ CD player at the moment. ![]()
