![]() ![]() Good advice, disembodied voice.ĭmC: Devil May Cry is currently in development for PS3 and Xbox 360.It looks like one of the biggest rumors that preceded E3 2018 is true. It seems to epitomize the out of control action and tone of the new Devil May Cry. For those who dig the changes, make special note of the final words near the end of the trailer. Purists, still unhappy after what they see here, will be pleased to know that the first three original games are getting HD facelifts for their inclusion in the Devil May Cry HD Collection, due in early 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. After his work is done, the world reverts back to normal, as if nothing happened. White and black fog viciously swirls around him as he juggles enemies in the air, eviscerating them over and over. The trailer features a bit more of a look into the Devil Trigger, in which Dante will briefly sport his white hair. That’s what this series is all about: absolutely decimating your enemies, with style. ![]() He starts out simple enough with Ebony & Ivory, his favorite dual handguns and quickly moves to some of the more over the top weaponry, all while effortlessly kicking ass. Set to a heavy rock/metal soundtrack, of course. Dante embraces it, easily navigating the eerie, trippy landscape, busting some heads along the way. Faint figures of normal people walk the streets, completely unaware as world shifts and distorts around them. In fact, the trailer seem to be hinting that everything Dante encounters only he, or those capable, can see. This new, extended cut of the Devil May Cry TGS 2011 trailer highlights these changes and is a minute longer than the original version, opening with a brief intro by the English voiced Dante informing us that demons are everywhere around us, which sets the theme for the trailer and most likely the game. Like it or not, DmC is heading in a new direction. Even Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya isn’t too fond of the changes. He’s younger, hipper, slightly more emo and missing his signature white do. Main man Dante’s new look has been met with backlash from fans. Developer Ninja Theory has taken the reigns for a reboot of Capcom's Devil May Cry series and has been making a few, not so minor, adjustments. ![]()
